The Ambassador of Brazil visits Vermiculus' Stockholm Office

Vermiculus was honored to host H.E. Maria Edileuza Fontenele Reis, the Ambassador of Brazil to Sweden, along with Counsellor Mr. Bruno de Lacerda Carrilho and Ms. Amélia Dimle, at its headquarters in Stockholm. The visit also included the participation of project teams from both Vermiculus and B3, who are collaborating on a major CSD modernization initiative aimed at futureproofing the centralized deposit services provided by B3.

Innovation and collaboration stood at the centre of today’s discussions. Vermiculus’ CEO, Taraneh Derayati, described our operations and highlighted the significance of strategic partnerships in driving technological progress and innovation in the financial sector, while Henrik Rouet-Leduc, Project Manager at Vermiculus, and Pedro Wajchman Moriyama, IT Associate Director at B3, shared updates on the development of a next-generation CSD system for Brazil. Their insights highlighted how this project is setting new standards in scalability, security, and efficiency for financial infrastructure.

"Working closely with B3 in a truly agile process has been key to ensuring this project not only meets the initial requirements, but also adapts to the evolving needs of Brazil’s financial ecosystem. Collaboration has been at the heart of our progress," said Henrik Rouet-Leduc.

The visit was an opportunity to showcase the cutting-edge technology behind the project and to celebrate the strong collaboration between Sweden and Brazil. With engaging discussions and a chance for the teams to connect over lunch, the day reflected the shared vision driving this transformative initiative.

"This project embodies the power of international collaboration, combining Sweden's innovation with Brazil's ambition to create a transformative solution. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we work together toward a shared vision," concluded Taraneh Derayati, CEO of Vermiculus.

Thank you to all our distinguished guests for joining the Vermiculus office.
